UBB launches the call for students interested in taking part in the next edition of the EUTOPIA Innovation Challenges for Students, hosted and organised by Ca’ Foscari University of Venice.

🔎 This call aims to select 8 UBB students.

The opportunity is open to undergraduate (BA) and graduate (MA) students from all degree disciplines. Prior knowledge or experience in a specific topic or sector is not required.

During the Innovation Challenges, students from across the EUTOPIA alliance will work in multidisciplinary teams to explore how traditional heritage, local culture, and historical spaces can be reimagined to address contemporary social, environmental, and cultural needs.

Participants will develop innovative and inclusive ideas around topics such as:

🏛️ creative reuse and sustainable management of cultural resources
💡 innovative storytelling and new visitor experiences
🎭 sensory and interactive engagement with heritage
🤝 civic participation and stronger connections with local communities
🌱 making cultural assets more accessible, relevant, and sustainable for future generations

The overall goal is to bridge the legacy of the past with future-oriented design, transforming traditional cultural frameworks into actionable, inclusive, and forward-thinking solutions.
